In Memory of George Nelson:
We are saddened to report the death of George Nelsen.
"Grandpa George" was a very dear friend who died peacefully on February 10, 2016.
He was a master storyteller and promoter of storytelling. He started the Northern Prairie Storytelling Festival in Sioux Falls, and it was the nearest and best storytelling Mecca for us for many years. All this on top of earlier careers as a telephone lineman and restaurant owner! He specialized in stories from his youth in Sioux Falls in the Dirty Thirties and had a wonderful knack for eliciting stories from his listeners. Here is a link to his obituary: http://www.millerfh.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=1747157#
May his Spirit travel with each of us.
